What does it show under USB controllers? Firmware and drivers are totally different things. I have a disc that came with the MB that has Asmedia x host controller driver. Sure, we can poke around with Verbatim tools if it has such a tool and exposed settingswith ASRock UEFI settings Fast Boot disabled, legacy USB enabled, some hidden settings related to xHCIwith connectivity and mainboard assembly aemedia but in the end it will get both of us more frustrated and Usb3.0 just don't think it will be worth the invested time.

Ok - No errors at all, no drive disconnects or re-connects, no file write errors, no file read errors.

If u wish to downgrade for security reasons, consider using driver v1. Disable SecureBoot if enabled for the same reason as above.
