Hm, can you try installing original unmodified driver with setup. Use of the Software by the Government constitutes acknowledgment of Intel's proprietary rights therein. You may only distribute the Software to your customers pursuant to a written license agreement. On Windows Vista the Microsoft audio function driver installs by default.

When i run the driver it says no compatible hardware. At a minimum such license shall safeguard Intel's ownership rights to the Software. Could you tell me how to install the drivers?

Found a bad link? Reboot the system to fully uninstall the drivers. This QFE is made available by Microsoft, and it is required to update Operating System components before installing the audio driver. If such xudio defect is found, return the media to Intel for replacement or alternate delivery of the Software as Intel may select.

It does however list the AD family of chipsets. System is already returned to user who asked me for repair. Intel is not obligated under any other agreements unless they are in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Intel.

I installed on windows Issue was not in driver, but in sound card itself. Did you find the information on 1986z site useful?
